The project, led by Fundación Generación F, was launched in August 2021 and to date has collected more than 15,000 pounds of plastics.
The initiative aims to encourage the collection and recycling of plastics by paying 10 pesos per pound to people who take their plastics and cans to the collection center.
Sublime Samaná joins this incredible initiative by donating all the plastics generated in the hotel and hosting a collection center in the facilities.
This project complements Sublime’s continuous efforts to leave the smallest possible ecological footprint in its surroundings and to be an eco-conscious hotel.
