Ermitaño Beach Catamaran

Depart by catamaran from the hotel beach to Ermitaño beach. This incredible beach does not have vehicle access so it remains virgin; white sand, coconut trees and a lush mountain of tropical forest behind you. Fantastic snorkeling near the beach. Buffet lunch included at exclusive restaurant in Playa Morón.

Samana City Tour

City founded in 1756, officially called Santa Bárbara de Samaná, this excursion will immerse you in the local life of Samaná with the opportunity to visit a small local market, churches, as well as the opportunity to do some shopping. We will walk along the beautiful and picturesque "Avenida la Marina" and see the "Pueblo Príncipe", a small shopping center that was conceived as a typical and colorful Caribbean town. We will visit the Malecón where we will observe one of the icons of the city, Los Puentes de Samaná, three bridges built between two small islands in the bay of Samaná and stop by the Whale Museum.

Leaving the hotel in comfortable and modern buses, accompanied by an expert guide, we will tour a panoramic view of the modern part of the capital (private tour of the Dominican Presidential Palace for the group).
Then we will visit The Colonial City where the primate cathedral in America is located and the Alcázar de Colón, Paseo de las Damas, the most romantic street in the city and the Amber Museum.
Then we will have free time to shop in different typical gift shops and we will return to the hotel.

Snorkeling in Jackson Beach

45 minutes of snorkeling in the natural reefs and then we visit Jackson Beach with time to swim and continue snorkeling.

Jackson Beach is a deserted beach, with golden sand that is still uncontaminated and wild, with exclusive access by boat. Its turquoise waters hide thousands of colorful fish, snorkeling here is a real pleasure.

Whale Watching (January – March)

Every year Humpback whales come from North America to Samaná Bay to give birth and mate.
You can't miss this excursion: you will hear the powerful blow of the mammal's breathing jet coming from the bottom of the sea.
A few meters from the boat, you can see the males jumping, making the females fall in love with them. You will be excited by the spectacle of the newborn whale, accompanying its mother, giving it affection and playing with it.
