City founded in 1756, officially called Santa Bárbara de Samaná, this excursion will immerse you in the local life of Samaná with the opportunity to visit a small local market, churches, as well as the opportunity to do some shopping.
We will walk along the beautiful and picturesque “Avenida la Marina” and see the “Pueblo Príncipe”, a small shopping center that was conceived as a typical and colorful Caribbean town. We will visit the Malecón where we will observe one of the icons of the city, Los Puentes de Samaná, three bridges built between two small islands in the bay of Samaná and stop by the Whale Museum.

Playa Frontón, a beach that can only be reached by boat, surrounded by a coral reef around which you can snorkel, swim with fish and discover its corals, relax and enjoy the incredible landscape. Catamaran Full Day
On this excursion we pass through Samaná Bay, departure from our private dock, sail to snorkel point 1 on the sunken ferry (1 hour), sail to snorkel point 2, Cayo La Farola (1 hour), lunch on board in front of Cayo Levantado, free time on the beach, we sail across the bay, return to the dock.

El Limon Waterfalls- Hiking
Start your 50-minute walk through the tropical forest to the top of the waterfall, where you can see the impressive 50-meter-high Salto del Limón, as well as tropical plants and fruits.
Walk down to enjoy a swim in this natural pool. Space for photos and free time.

Los Haitises + Cayo Levantado
Visit the Los Haitises National Park, which was a place of refuge for the Taíno indigenous people at the beginning of the 16th century because of its hidden caves. It is still possible to see its original pictographs. It is one of the most beautiful parks in the country and has a very varied flora and fauna where thousands of birds live.
After the tour of the caves and mangroves, we will enjoy some drinks on board. At noon, lunch in Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island). Free time until 4:00 pm on the island and return to the hotel.

Safari Rincon Beach
A fantastic tour of the region. Group departure from the hotel enjoying nature along the path in the hills. Then, you can admire the city of Samaná, its boardwalk and typical houses.
Stop at marble mine, still in operation. Visit to La Boca del Diablo, one of the must-see tourist sites of the Samaná Peninsula. Next, we arrive at Playa Rincón, three kilometers of virgin beach with white sand and crystal clear waters with buffet lunch on the beach. Last stop is Caño Frío, a small oasis with very abundant flora and fauna that make the place a beautiful paradise, surrounded by mangroves.

Whale Watching (January – March)
Every year Humpback whales come from North America to Samaná Bay to give birth and mate. You can't miss this excursion:
- You will hear the powerful blow of the mammal's breathing jet coming from the bottom of the sea.
- A few meters from the boat, you can see the males jumping, making the females fall in love with them.
- You will be excited by the spectacle of the newborn whale, accompanying its mother, giving it affection and playing with it.
- Season is usually from January 15-March 15 and is subject to change.
