Meet Gianluca Nurchis, the New General Manager of Sublime Samana
The reopening also marks a new chapter in leadership with the arrival of Gianluca Nurchis as General Manager of Sublime Samana.
Originally from Italy, Nurchis began his hospitality career in his home country, developing experience in luxury hospitality primarily between Sardinia and Rome. During the first 15 years of his career, he built experience across both operations and commercial management.
After completing a Master’s degree in Hotel & Revenue Management in Milan, his career brought him to the Caribbean, where he joined Meliá Hotels International in Cuba and worked at one of its Paradisus properties. In 2014, he joined Viva Resorts by Wyndham, developing further experience across Mexico, the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic.
His arrival coincides with a defining moment for Sublime Samana: a renewed property, an evolved guest experience and a new stage for the hotel’s presence within luxury hospitality in Las Terrenas.
